Terms And Conditions

 

Payments:

  • The customer or retreat guest shall pay Rosalind Southward either in full to confirm a booking, or a non-refundable deposit of £200. This is due for each person named in the reservation.

  • The balance monies due for each booked space on the retreat shall be paid by the individual customer to Rosalind Southward on or before March 30th, 2020. 

  • If payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the due date, Rosalind Southward reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to check the reservation and ensure that the details contained in it are correct.

  • By making payment the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions.

 

Pricing:

  • Rosalind Southward reserves the right to offer discretionary discounts. This does not affect the status of any guests who have paid the full price and no discount will then become due to them. 

 

 

Cancellation/Refunds:

  • In the event of an individual needing to make cancellation of the booking 50% of the total cost of the retreat is refundable up to 90 days prior to retreat start date only.

  • After 90 days prior to the retreat start date there will be no refunds.

  • Any cancellation must be made in writing direct to Rosalind Southward. 

  • Rosalind Southward reserves the right to cancel a retreat up to 60 days before the start date. In the event that a retreat you have booked is cancelled then all monies paid will be refunded. 

  • Rosalind Southward shall not be liable for any failures beyond her control. This includes ‘Force majeure’ including war, natural disasters, technical disasters, strikes, acts of God, political unrest, closure of airports, accidents or failure of third parties to perform including suppliers or sub-contractors. 

 

Transport:

  • The customer is liable for organising their own transport and for transport costs to and from the retreat and for any additional trips they may wish to make during the retreat.

  • Rosalind Southward can accept no responsibility for delay or cancellation of any flights, train, buses or other forms of transport.

 

 

Alterations:

  • Due to situations beyond our control, Rosalind Southward reserves the right to change bookings and shall inform the customer as soon as possible. Alternative arrangements will be offered but we do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred, including transport costs.

  • Rosalind Southward reserves the right to alter any facility accommodation or yoga activity.

 

 

Personal Travel Insurance:

  • Retreat guests are responsible for ensuring they have adequate travel, cancellation and medical insurance for the duration of the trip and it is recommended guests organise this. Rosalind Southward can accept no liability for customers. 

  • Rosalind Southward will not be held responsible for theft, loss or damage of any personal possessions or valuables during the retreat. All guests should ensure that they have personal travel insurance to cover their possessions. 

 

 

Health:

  • The retreat guest takes responsibility for ensuring he/she is medically and physically fit to be able to join the retreat, use retreat facilities and partake in retreat yoga classes and activities. 

  • Customers who have injuries or illnesses are advised to seek doctor’s advice before practicing yoga. 

  • Rosalind Southward is not liable for any injuries to the retreat guest in his/her use of retreat facilities or participation in retreat activities. 

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to inform the teacher of any injuries or illnesses that might impact their ability to partake in yoga classes or retreat activities. In the event the customer feels ill during a class or activity they should stop and inform the teacher. 

  • Rosalind Southward accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illnesses which may be received during the customers’ stay or travelling to and from retreats organised by Rosalind Southward. 

 

Respect of Property:

  • The customer shall not use the property except for permitted use and shall not use the property for any offensive, noisy, dangerous, illegal, entertainment, immoral or improper purposes. 

  • The customer shall keep all properties used on the retreat in a clean and good condition and shall replace any articles which are destroyed or missing with articles of a similar kind and of equal value. This includes fixtures, fittings, furniture and effects.

  • Rosalind Southward reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate use of the any property or any of its facilities by the customer in the event of any breach of these terms and conditions. The customer will be required to vacate the property and Rosalind Southward shall not refund payment or accept any consequential liability damages or loss.

 

Complaints:

In the event of customers wishing to make a complaint they will report it directly to Rosalind Southward as soon as possible and will not discuss it with any third party.
